Harvey Birdman, the superhero formerly known as Birdman, is now a practicing lawyer. As an attorney, he represents his fellow former Hanna-Barbera cartoon stars in a variety of strange cases. With opposing council made up of his former villains, prehistoric superhero Judge Mightor (of the 1967 series Mighty Mightor), and his pet/partner/personal secretary Avenger, Harvey tackles the cases only a guy in a business suit with a mask & large wings can! Past cases involve custody of Jonny Quest, a copyright infringement case between the Chan Clan and Jabberjaw, and Fred Flintstone’s possible mob connections.
Harvey Birdman :
Harvey Birdman was once a third-rate superhero. He is now a third-rate lawyer. There was a brief period as “bachelorette party entertainer,” but we’ll ignore that. Birdman takes the hard cases, the unwinnable cases, the cases nobody else wants. Or maybe it’s just the animated cases. He works for prestigious law firm, Sebben and Sebben, and is constantly living in fear of getting fired. It’s unclear whether he ever completed – or even attended – law school, but he has a business suit now, that’s for sure.
